STRESS MANAGEMENT

You’re exhausted from constantly running on empty

It feels like your to-do list never ends, and no matter how much you try to keep up, there’s always something new demanding your attention. The pressure is relentless — at work, at home, with friends, and within yourself. Every day feels like a balancing act, and even when you manage to get through one task, you’re already worrying about the next. The weight of it all is starting to feel like too much.

You’ve been pushing through, but lately, it’s becoming harder to keep up the facade that everything is okay. You’re constantly on edge, overwhelmed by the smallest things, and no matter how hard you try, it feels like you’re barely holding it together. The anxiety and tension in your body never seem to ease, and you find yourself snapping at people you care about or feeling completely drained by the end of each day.

You know this isn’t sustainable. You want to take a breath, feel grounded again, and enjoy life without the constant cloud of stress hanging over you. But the weight is crushing, and you're left wondering: How did it all get so overwhelming? How do you get out of this cycle?

You don’t have to keep living in survival mode

At RFC Counseling in Colorado, we understand the toll that stress takes on your mind, body, and relationships. We know what it feels like to be constantly in “go mode,” running on adrenaline, and feeling like you’re barely keeping your head above water. But living in this state is draining, and it’s taking a toll on more than just your energy levels — it’s affecting your happiness, your health, and your ability to be present in your own life. You don’t have to keep living like this. Together, we’ll explore what’s driving your stress and start addressing the root causes. Whether it’s work pressures, personal challenges, or overwhelming expectations, we’ll work to help you identify the things that are weighing you down and develop strategies to manage them in a healthier way. We’ll help you create tools to reduce stress and bring more balance and calm into your life. You’ll learn how to manage your time, set healthier boundaries, and reframe your thinking so that you’re not constantly operating under pressure. It’s not about doing more or being perfect; it’s about finding peace and balance, and regaining control over your life.

You deserve to feel at ease again

At RFC Counseling, we’re here to help you break free from the constant cycle of stress and find ways to feel more centered, relaxed, and in control. You don’t have to keep carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Let’s work together to create a life where you feel present, calm, and able to handle whatever comes your way — without it draining you. You don’t have to face this alone. Together, we’ll help you find the relief you’ve been craving.

Key Issues We Address

Our stress management services are designed to address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

  • How do I get started?
Click the CONTACT button located on the upper right corner of the page to submit your contact information, or directly contact us at 408-658-6291 or email us at info@rfccw.com. We will reach out to you within 24 hours!
  • How does counseling work?
We are currently offering virtual appointments only until further notice. We utilize secure video conferencing to enable face-to-face conversations. The video call is secure and confidential. When you schedule an appointment, you will be sent an email with a secure link enabling you to connect by video at the time of your appointment.
  • How often will we meet?
Generally, counseling sessions are held on a weekly basis as we begin to collaborate on goals, build rapport and gain momentum. As we progress, we may readjust our scheduled meetings to biweekly, once a month, etc. Some goals may take a few weeks to complete, while others may take several weeks, or months to resolve.
  • How long will I be in counseling?
Counseling is a personal investment, and for many, it is the most important investment one can make. Since counseling is an ongoing process, commitment length depends largely on the severity of issues and the goals we create together. We are devoted to clients’ therapeutic process and will diligently assess and monitor client progress throughout our journey together.
  • What happens if I miss an appointment?
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel and/or reschedule an appointment. If you do not show for your scheduled appointment and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
  • Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not take insurance. We can provide a superbill at the end of each month that you can submit for reimbursement. We highly encourage you to speak directly to your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement options.
  • What is the overall cost for counseling?
Under law, health care providers (including professional counselors) are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate, explaining the anticipated overall costs for health care services. You may ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling a service. For more information, please visit cms.org.
  • Is counseling confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality of all client information is protected by law. However, there are some limits to confidentiality when the safety of the client/others is compromised. We can provide you with the details of these exceptions during the initial counseling session.
