ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
You’re constantly fighting an invisible battle
It’s not always easy to explain, but inside, it feels like something is always off. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but everything feels harder than it should be. You wake up, but it feels like the day ahead is already too much to face. You’re tired — so tired — but sleep doesn’t bring relief.
Even on days when everything looks fine from the outside, there’s a weight you can’t shake. It’s like you're living in a fog, constantly trying to push through but getting nowhere. There’s this endless background noise of worry, doubt, and fear, and no matter how much you try to ignore it, it just keeps coming back.
Maybe your thoughts race and you can’t slow them down, or maybe it feels like the world is closing in, and it’s hard to breathe. It’s a constant pressure, like your body is always on alert. The things that used to make you feel good don’t do it anymore. You try to do things, but you just can’t find the motivation to follow through. You feel drained, disconnected, and like the joy in life is just out of reach.
And when you see others managing it all so effortlessly, you can’t help but feel like something is wrong with you. Why can’t you just snap out of it? Why can’t you just feel better?
You don’t have to live this way
At RFC Counseling in Colorado, we know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by anxiety and depression. It can feel like you're running on autopilot, stuck in a constant cycle of low energy, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion. But healing is possible. We don’t just want to help you cope with anxiety or depression — we want to help you move past it, so you can rediscover the life you deserve. -
How long will I be in counseling?Counseling is a personal investment, and for many, it is the most important investment one can make. Since counseling is an ongoing process, commitment length depends largely on the severity of issues and the goals we create together. We are devoted to clients’ therapeutic process and will diligently assess and monitor client progress throughout our journey together.
-
What happens if I miss an appointment?A 24-hour notice is required to cancel and/or reschedule an appointment. If you do not show for your scheduled appointment and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
-
Do you accept insurance? We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not take insurance. We can provide a superbill at the end of each month that you can submit for reimbursement. We highly encourage you to speak directly to your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement options.
-
What is the overall cost for counseling?Under law, health care providers (including professional counselors) are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate, explaining the anticipated overall costs for health care services. You may ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling a service. For more information, please visit cms.org.

Is counseling confidential?Yes. Confidentiality of all client information is protected by law. However, there are some limits to confidentiality when the safety of the client/others is compromised. We can provide you with the details of these exceptions during the initial counseling session.
